Caroline Jones

Caroline Jones has worked extensively in Australia and the UK as a designer of large and small scale theatre, events and carnival.
Working collaboratively and on commission for companies including the National Theatre, The Roundhouse, The Unicorn Theatre, The Thames Festival, Phakama, Shakespeare’s Globe and Emergency Exit Arts.
Combining narrative with visual logic to articulate the shape and movement of stories in a theatrical and accessible way.
She is also experienced in devising and facilitating creative educational projects for young and old alike and is committed to a non hierarchical educational philosophy through the arts.
In 2010 Caroline was a lead artist for the Trashcatchers Carnival in Tooting and continues to work with Taru using recycled materials (particularly plastic bags) as a transformative raw material, creating textile coverings for large scale puppets, costumes and all manner of useful and beautiful things.
